Well, Wi-Fi was very poor.

I chose Ibisbird Beach Bungalow solely because of its proximity to the Parewella Natural Swimming Area, which I was really excited to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. The convenience of having these amenities made my stay even more comfortable. Additionally, I absolutely loved the international cuisine served at the onsite restaurant. The delicious lunch and dinner options satisfied my appetite and added to the overall enjoyment of my trip.
OK, this part was really a horror story. The bathroom experience was terrifying when a large black-and-white striped poisonous snake appeared on the floor while I was washing my teeth.

I chose Ibisbird Beach Bungalow for its close proximity to Tangalle Beach, a landmark I was eager to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the featured amenities, including a 24-hour front desk and laundry facilities. The highlight for me was the guesthouse's on-site restaurant, where I enjoyed a delightful lunch with international cuisine.
Expensive food and drinks.

Spent Easter at a lovely bungalow by the beach in the south of Sri Lanka. The view of the ocean and palm trees was breathtaking. Appreciated the comfortable beds with crisp linens and plenty of soft towels. The garden was well maintained and provided a beautiful backdrop to our stay. Enjoyed exploring the local area by renting a scooter for the day.
The bungalow lacked air conditioning and made it quite hot during the warm days. The noise of the waves crashing on the shore was sometimes disruptive during the night.
